So, why CME Beyond Career Success?

CME Beyond Career Success, formerly Let’s Résumé! LLC, started as a vision to take my love for writing and my passion for bringing out the best in people through the creation of powerful storytelling résumés. So, why the name change?

No one knows your career story better than you. I started with the name Let’s Résumé! to emphasize the partnership it takes for you, as a job seeker, to tell me your story, and for me, as your trusted partner, to help tell that story in the most captivating way that will get others to listen and employers to want to hire you. While it starts with the résumé, it doesn’t end there. I take you through your own career journey and instill the confidence you need to tell your career story through tailored solutions that meet your job search needs and overall career management.

Over time, as I listened to my clients’ needs and kept up with the latest trends in career marketing materials and job search strategies, I discovered more help was needed and more people were getting impacted by job loss at a faster rate and in larger numbers. It was time for me to act and address the trends quickly and frequently while staying agile to the job search process. Here are some trends my services address today:

1) The fast-evolving technological advances in artificial intelligence like ChatGPT which have dramatically changed the landscape for job search tools. It’s time to have job seekers learn, adapt and take advantage of what AI has to offer to accelerate their job search and advance them in their careers.
2) The need for the job seeker to identify and build their personal brand on social media to network and showcase their subject matter expertise and build community as part of their overall job search and career management strategy in order to stay relevant and competitive in the workforce. Having a LinkedIn presence is now critical with LinkedIn gaining tremendous momentum with decision makers (i.e., recruiters, hiring managers, C-suite level leaders) posting and engaging while seeking exceptional talent.

3) The effectiveness of group coaching as a viable option for job seekers who can benefit from not only learning best practices from other job seekers, but also engaging in actual working sessions. Job seekers need to go beyond learning tools, techniques and strategies for job searching and career building but advance to executing on lessons learned. Group sharing of best practices and actual working sessions have proven to be valuable for job seekers challenged by identifying and building a personal brand, creating targeted accomplishment statements, and networking that works for them.

The job search has clearly become more overwhelming and stressful and I wanted to find proactive and innovative solutions for mid-career professionals. I felt the urgent need to help the job seeker navigate these new tools and keep up with current trends by offering new and enhanced 1:1 personalized and group services and solutions.

CME Beyond Career Success came to mind as a vision to help job seekers redefine success beyond securing their next job by exploring their need to seek fulfillment and satisfaction in both their professional and personal life which would ultimately take them beyond career success.
